Anthropic’s Defensive Coalition — Partners, Grants, and What It Means

Anthropic has limited Mythos access to a defensive coalition and pledged credits and open-source grants to find and fix vulnerabilities. This is the industry’s attempt to scale defensive response to an automated threat.

Who’s involved

Major partners include Microsoft, AWS, Apple, Cisco and the Linux Foundation, plus dozens of other organizations and some financial institutions.

Why grants and credits matter

Funding helps third parties run additional testing, create patches, and support open-source remediation — accelerating fixes that benefit the broader ecosystem.
